What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Palacio de los Deportes is a large, versatile venue that hosts a variety of sports and concerts, often with a vibrant atmosphere. While many find the bathrooms clean and the overall space comfortable for events, seating can be cramped and entry/exit processes are slow. Some reviews suggest the venue could benefit from modernization.
"Local arena, a lot of sports, concerts and other events are held here. It doesn't matter the event, getting into the park and leaving the park is a very slow process. There's always someone willing to help you find a parking spot, they usually charge you for this favor anywhere from 100 to 200 pesos, depends on the event and how many people are also looking for a parking space.
Once inside the seats are a bit cramped, I'm 5' 8" and my knees constantly hit the seat in front.
Events here usually have the air conditioning on, bring a light jacket if you easily get cold. Also you can't bring umbrellas inside, so if it's raining out your best bet is to bring a rain jacket."
