Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Estates Theatre's stunning, well-preserved Baroque interior and its rich historical significance, particularly its connection to Mozart. The intimate setting enhances the experience of opera and ballet performances. Some note that while there's no strict dress code, dressing smartly is common, and planning for an early dinner is advisable due to restaurant closing times.

"What an absolutely gorgeous venue! The views are from our seats in the ground floor elevated boxes (first balcony, row 10). The boxes are very cosy and intimate. The opera was lovely and everything about the organisation was immaculate. The subtitles (in Czech and English) were on screens above the stage and to the left and right, at the level of the first balcony.

Well worth the experience and we hope to be back!"

Steffie Thayil

"I attended the opera during April in 2025.
The entire building is well decorated and nice
Seat in a box might be unexpected for who suffers from hot body temperatures.
The AC is barely cooling during the show. It is impossible to get any snacks during the brake
In general a ticket in back seat inside the box is not worse than you think before.
Save yourself and buy cheap tickets

Enjoy"

Guy Tel Nir

"Fabulous historic theatre in the centre of Prague. So evocative and amazing to think Mozart walk the corridors at one time."
