Reviews Summary

Queen's Beach is highly praised for its family-friendly shallow waters and soft sand, making it ideal for young children. Visitors also appreciate the unique healing mud baths and the beautiful mountain views. However, some find the water too shallow for adult swimming and note that sunbeds can be taken quickly, with occasional issues regarding beach cleanliness.

"It is the right placement to be if you love sandy beaches, rest and/or have kids as the water is really not deep! You can go for ages and the water will not be deeper then 60-80cm. Of course depending on when you are there (time of year, tides etc.) On the other hand if you want to swim and dive as an adult, the Queens Beach might not be your first choice. But for relaxing it is amazing. It is a long, sandy beach, with publich showers and a toilet. There are also 2 small restaurant you can use for a quick snack, nothing fancy but exactly what you or your kids want meaning fries, burger, cool drinks, there is also a small pancakes stand (with marmelade/Nutella etc). There is a section of the beach with a sunshade/umbrella that you can rent for 20€/day. It is first come first serve. One access to the beach is from the parking lot via a little wooden bridge. The parking fee is currently 7€/day, if you are charged. The if is connected to the fact that the fee is collected by 1-2 guys that sit aside the road, if they are there. The Queens beach is also famous for its mud, supposedly with healing effect. Not sure about that but why not try it. It however has a strong smell. We were told to leave it a few minutes (not long) on the skin and then you wash it off. We recommend this place if you just want to have a relaxing sunny day with an awsome view and a little (no too sporty) cooling down and swim. We had some amazing days here."

"Did not meet expectations. Went on weekday in August. All umbrellas taken by 9:30 am so probably need to arrive super early 🤷🏾‍♀️ Beach generally dirty with thrash and cigarettes butts everywhere
There are better beaches in the area"

This natural resource has been recognized for its potential healing properties, particularly for rheumatic and skin conditions. TikTokInstagram Visitors often describe the mud as having a strong, earthy smell, which is part of its natural character. The process involves applying the mud to the skin and letting it dry for a short period before rinsing it off in the sea. The proximity of the mud baths to the main beach area makes it convenient to incorporate into your day. Instagram

Parents can relax knowing their little ones are in a secure aquatic playground. Instagram

This gives you time to find a good vantage point, perhaps near the water's edge or on the boardwalk, and set up your camera. The changing colors of the sky, from vibrant oranges and pinks to deep purples, offer a dynamic and ever-evolving photographic opportunity. Instagram Remember to bring a tripod if you plan on capturing long exposures or low-light shots to ensure sharpness and detail in your images.
