What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kolovare Beach is praised for its stunningly clear Adriatic waters and convenient location near Zadar's Old Town. Visitors enjoy the refreshing swim, the fun trampoline jumps, and the lively atmosphere. However, the pebbly shore, potential for overcrowding, and occasional issues with litter and restroom cleanliness are noted drawbacks.
"Fantastic spot to swim at, I was surprised that everyone was behaving since not everyone does that in Sweden. There were so many nationalities, yet it felt safe. There weren't any loud music, no hookahs etc, you understand why I am talking about.
I'd recommend coming with swimming goggles. The water is clear and you can spot individual fishes and sometimes a school of fish underwater. Very pretty ❤️."

"Only natural beaches equipped with showers. No private beach where you can rent a space having deck chair and umbrella to have shade all the time to spend the whole day. The water quality and views are excellent but not enough to have maximum pleasure. But in high season like in July you hardly can find a free spot at the beach. This is the biggest problem makes the beach time only good for a few hours not whole day."

"The water was sparking clean, beautiful view. It is immediately deep for swimming. There were cafes, jet skis, and outdoor volley ball but we never used any of those. Very crowded beach, we were lucky enough to find free parking though. Had a good experience until we used the bathroom before we left… no toilet paper, no hand soap, and there was diarrhea on the toilet and floor."
