What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Uvala Lapad Promenade for its expansive pebble beach, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful sunset views. The nearby promenade offers a pleasant walk with dining options. However, some note that on-site facilities like sunbeds and toilets can be closed outside peak season, and ongoing construction has occasionally caused noise.
"I can really recommend this beach. It is huge and even with many people there is spreads out really nicely with a second beach right next to it. The bar or whatever it is that is separating the two beaches seems to be permanently closed.
The water is really clear as always in Croatia. Once you step inside the water after about 5 meters there is sand and you can walk quite easily pretty far into the water as it is only slightly sloping.
Would definitely come back!"

"Lovely pebble beach and a great spot to watch sunset but all the facilities around it are closed down in peak season (Aug 2025) so there is no option to rent sunbeds, no public toilet and nowhere at the beach itself to buy food or drink. There is a supermarket close by and a street full of bars and restaurants also near to the beach but everything at the beach itself is not open."

"Nice beach with shade under the trees. You can my in the grass. There is nice walk along the coast and a strip with bars and restaurants. Easy to reach by bus. Only 4 stars because of all the building going on in the area and the noise this creates. Also in June a lot is empty in the area. I hope this opens up and give the area a better vibe."
