"Parque Reptilandia in Costa Rica offers a unique and fascinating experience for reptile enthusiasts. We were fortunate to meet Loyal, an American who has made Costa Rica his home and recently revitalized the park. Loyal’s passion and deep knowledge about each reptile were evident as he gave us a brief but insightful guided introduction before we explored the grounds on our own. The facility is thoughtfully designed with the reptiles’ enrichment in mind, creating a healthy and engaging environment for the animals. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly Coquita, the famous Virgin Mary crocodile, a truly remarkable and rare attraction. Parque Reptilandia is a must-visit for anyone interested in reptiles and conservation."
Melissa Marker
"The owner, Loyal was super friendly and informative. I enjoyed hearing about “the virgin alligator” Cochita. The reptiles seem well taken care of and their habitats are clean. Come on a Saturday if you want to see feeding time. Prices are very reasonable compared to most other activities around. Most enclosures have a roof in case the rain comes so it’s still walkable. We will be back."
Heather Patterson
"Friendly introduction to the space and direction for a self guided tour. Clean and appeared to be well cared for. An extensive variety of snakes, lizards and turtles. Easy to navigate paths and lots of informative signage."
