"Had a beautifully serene morning here. There are over 3,000 works in the collection at this quaint museum. You will learn about Pedro Gomez, what inspired and drove him, his family and his influence on Colombian art. It seems that he was most well known as a muralist, but the collection showcases many different mediums.

The landscaping and grounds are also quite nice to spend a bit of time taking it in.

A few notes:

Google Translate does a decent job if you aren’t super fluent in Spanish. The language used to describe the artwork is pretty sophisticated, but you will get the gist.

The museum is about a 15 min walk from the Universidad stop on the Metro and worth it!"
