"Great show not to be missed if you are in Lhasa. Simple story line but executed perfectly against real mountain backdrop, gigantic props, real animals and more than 800 actors.
Only tips, buy more expensive thicket. (RMB680) to get yourself away from cold winds. Or wear thick jacket."

"This is a really impressive show including a cast of hundreds which involve horses, yaks and sheep.
The set in enormous and the set changes very impressive.
The seating is all outdoors and the show starts at 8.30pm and lasts for over 90 minutes so come well dressed as it gets cold. At one stage they blow artificial snow over the audience but as it settles, it looks more like soap suds. Some members of the audience put up their umbrellas which was very inconsiderate to the people immediately behind them who were then blocked out. The "snow" marks some materials so better wear a waterproof coat.
There are two big screens at either end of the stage which give simultaneous translations, one of which is in English, so you can easily follow on.
There are quite a few steps to climb up to the theater.
This is a must for a first time visitor to Lhasa and is a great night out."
