"Like many said, it is more of a hill than a mountain, and not very high, but that's what makes it a fun place to visit with children.
There are several ways up, mainly a winding road and path, or the stairs. The stairs are steep.
It's is a pleasant drive and there is a lot of parking available in the Public lot nearby. I suggest phoning or texting ahead; when we were there the buildings were closed and the astronomy museum was closed. Only a small gift shop was open. Much of the grounds and the view were also blocked due to construction."
