From the concrete walkway, we can see the mountains in the distance, with strange peaks and rugged rocks, as well as wonders of nature. Every flora & fauna has a information board displayed.!!
After an hour walk , we arrived at the edge of Nanqing Garden. We need to climb 600 steps up, for a scenic view of several granite peaks formed more than one billion years ago by geological evolution.
However for those who prefers not to climb up to the top, bamboo carrier chair by workers at a fee is available.
These strange peaks and rocks are unique feature of Sanqing Mountain in Nanqing Garden. The giant python looks like breaking out of the mountain and wanting to fly into the sky.
The Oriental Goddess, beautiful and simple, is like a goddess sitting on the mountain, silently watching all living beings, with a peaceful expression. The hard stone peak presents a plump and soft shape.
There were some tents who camp overnight at the peak terrace to view sunrise, sunset and sea of clouds.
Our Guide said those views of Strange peaks & rocks, ancient trees & flowers, flowing springs & waterfalls, and sea of clouds & fog waves are well known as the four natural wonders of Sanqing Mountain.
Do wear comfortable shoes for this sightseeing, be fully aware whats ahead of you walking within the walkway, like they always said in Chinese…“抬头看树，低头看路”(look up for trees, look down for road).
Nevertheless, despite the “breathtaking” walks, Sanqing Mountain is indeed a spectacular and unique China’s 5A level tourist destination !!!!"
