The park's serene lake and the iconic pagoda also contribute to its charm, offering a peaceful escape. While generally well-maintained, some caution is advised for potentially dangerous higher peaks.

"Went here to spend my evening strolling at the park and ended up hiking the peak. There are three peaks that offer stunning views especially during sunset. But I only managed to reach two peaks since the other one is considered dangerous. The park is nice, the lake is beautiful and a lot of people spend their evening here too. But the peak is extra superb. The hike did not take long. probably around 30 minutes to each peak respectively. There are also a lot of people climbing there. The track is clear and it's just like stairs. Suitable for beginners although it can be quite tiring. But once you see the view, all the tired suddenly gone. Very recommended activities to do during the evening when you are at Guilin town. Just a 10 minute drive from the centre."
