"To get to this park, you must head towards Tagua Tagua Lake. From there, you can take a barge with different schedules during the winter and summer seasons. You must make your reservation through the park's website so they know your arrival time and can pick you up by boat. After the boat transfer, the trail to Alerces Lagoon begins, which is an average of 3.5 hours.
I recommend staying two nights at the Alerces Refuge. The first day is the trail to Laguna Alerces, the second day is the Quetrus Lagoon, the Grande Waterfall, and the La Flaca Waterfall. The third day is the return trip.
