"Easy to moderate hike that will require atleast half of your day. Take some break on your hike and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The waterfall is spectacular"
Shane Batioco
"An awesome hike. The trailhead has good number of parking spots on side of road. Most of path is good easy conditions with just a few places need to step over small streams and rocks. Is a gradual continuous slope up all the way to the base of the mountain side. Trail stops before base of waterfall, but falls is reachable if willing to scramble over scree and are not scared of heights (drops)."
Steven Vickers
"Moderate hike, short legs dog will get tired for sure. I have to carry my dog for many times but it was very nice hike."

Understanding the Lineham Falls Trail
While the official trail concludes before the base of the waterfall, adventurous visitors can continue by scrambling over scree to get closer to the cascading water. This section requires more caution and is not recommended for those with a fear of heights. Many visitors suggest going past the 'end of the trail' sign to discover even better vantage points. The trail can be narrow and brushy in places, so wearing long pants is advisable, even on warmer days.

Photography Tips for Lineham Falls
When photographing the waterfall, a wide-angle lens is excellent for encompassing its grandeur and the surrounding cliffs. If you wish to capture the movement of the water, a tripod can be invaluable for achieving longer exposures, especially if there's mist in the air. Don't hesitate to venture beyond the marked trail's end; many of the most compelling perspectives of the falls are found by carefully navigating the scree slopes. Remember to also capture the details: the textures of the rocks, the wildflowers in the meadows, and the play of light through the trees.
Key photographic subjects include the main waterfall, smaller cascades along the route, panoramic views of the valley, and the unique flora and fauna of Waterton Lakes National Park. Be prepared for varying light conditions and potential moisture from the falls.
