"The Village at Black Creek is a wonderful step back in time! The historic buildings, costumed interpreters, and hands-on activities make it feel like you’re truly experiencing 19th-century village life. Every corner has something interesting — from the working blacksmith shop and print shop to the schoolhouse and general store.
We enjoyed strolling through the peaceful grounds, chatting with the interpreters who shared fascinating stories, and seeing the heritage gardens in bloom. The attention to detail in both the buildings and the demonstrations is outstanding.
It’s educational, fun, and beautifully maintained — a perfect outing for families, history lovers, or anyone looking for a unique day trip."

"This place is amazing great place to take the kids. There are many opportunities for learning about historical times. I really enjoyed this visit. I used a map to guide me on my visit, but you can also get guided visits. My group enjoyed the petting of the goats 😆 and watching the chickens. They also enjoyed the school house activities writing on slates. Memories.....back in the days 😆 I encourage you to take a visit. Oh, show your ticket at the reception and you get a discount."
