What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Berczy Park is widely loved for its charming and unique dog fountain, offering a delightful urban escape. Visitors appreciate its picturesque setting, proximity to other attractions, and the whimsical atmosphere it provides. Some minor drawbacks include the fountain's seasonal operation and occasional unusual scents from nearby ginkgo trees.
"Beautiful small park with a unique fountain of dogs. The hands were really cool to see.
Plenty of benches to sit on and relax.
The only downside was the drunk homeless loafing around on the wall by the fountain and it was very crowded and busy there towards late afternoon.
Otherwise, clean and something worth seeing."

"Absolutely beautiful park around the Esplanade area downtown. Close to the St. Lawrence Market, right beside the Flat Iron Building. There are lots of great restaurants and bars to explore all around it. Tables and chairs provided underneath a canopy of beautiful trees. Also, other areas of seating provided as well. The water fountain is stunning! It's definitely a park worth checking out day or night to sit back and relax with family and / or friends. It's a real gem in the heart of wonderful Toronto."

"Berczy Fountain is a wonderful spot in Toronto! The dog-themed sculptures are adorable and create a great photo op. I love how there’s a single cat, not looking at the bone on top of the fountain, but rather gazing at a bird across the square. The fountain itself adds to the lively atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A must-visit for dog lovers!"
