What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Heather Moyse Heritage Park is often described as a beautiful place with great views and abundant nature, perfect for walking, biking, and wildlife observation. While many praise its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere, some reviews point out issues with litter and park maintenance.
"Dirty. Unkept. Pot/Weed refuse everywhere. Tree saplings planted with 0 care and attention. Still wrapped at the tops. Burlap still wrapped around the roots. Deep holes where they either planted trees and they died or trees that were supposed to be planted and didn't get done. Garbage everywhere. Garbage cans overflowing. Clothing articles strewn from one end of the park to the other. Garbage in the ponds. If I were Heather Moyse, I'd want my name taken off the sign. This place is sad actually. The parking lot also seconds as a gravel and dirt depot. The parking lot is all scored from heavy trucks driving through. The city should be embarrassed. I always take a baggie with me because I'll usually get a dozen or so recyclable cans/bottles. What a disgrace."
