"The Missus and I, the boys and two family renegades walked the Baywalk Boardwalk around a bay of Summerside. It was a very easy stroll and to enjoy the fresh air. There were chairs to sit and rest along with toilet facilities. At the time of our visit, the majority of the businesses were closed at the east end. There was a lighthouse along the route for picture taking. Other than that, the boardwalk was nice but we would not say one should make a special trip to Summerside for it."

"A very nice easy 6.6km (4 miles) walk along the bay in Summerside starting from the harbor. Well maintained and clean with separate paths for walkers and bicyclists. There are picnic tables and lookouts along the path. Look for bird houses affixed to the trees along the path.
We saw one bathroom (toilet enclosure) halfway along the path that it was more or less a Porta Potty! But unfortunately as soon as you open the door the odor and the hundreds of flies coming towards the light knocks you back 10 feet. They need to pay more attention to cleanliness of the bathroom."
