They were so kind, so down-to-earth, and consistently checked in to make sure our visit was absolutely top tier. "We had first stayed here in 2016, and returned in 2025--new management, total emodel, new chef, same outstanding quality. We got the epicurean package--two nights, two breakfasts, one five-course chef's menu dinner.
The room was superb. It included a soaker tub plus the usual romenities (no microwave, though). They provide everything you might need--shaving kits, toothbrush and toothpaaste, makeup removers--all in the room, no need to ask at the front desk. The rooms all have a nice semi-private balcony overlooking the harbor, and I enjoyed sitting with my Nespresso-made coffee (firs t time I'd had Nespresso, so much better than Keurig).
The food was superb. Breakfasts were wild mushroom benedicts the first day, in-house smoked salmon the second. Their mixologist delivers delightful craft cocktails, the first-course dinner was worthy of the best chefs, and I enjoyed a mid-afternoon snack of little wing Pacific oysters and a martini.
Pricey, yes. But well worth it."
