Visitors consistently praise the Founders' Museum and Pioneer Village as an underrated gem, offering a genuine step back in time with its well-preserved buildings and artifacts. The knowledgeable volunteers are frequently highlighted for enhancing the experience with their stories and insights. While some wish for more promotion, the overall sentiment is that it's a worthwhile and engaging visit for anyone interested in local history.
"Every building has amazing things. Some of the things brought back memories. I have donated items to Russ Wanzuk and are now part of the display. Good to see the items he built and collected. Big job for the volunteers to help with construction, display and manning the various buildings. I don’t know why it isn’t supported more by our residents. A reasonable price to spend a few hours time after time. I’ll go again before the summer is over."

"I had the greatest time! I think it’s wildly underrated and not well advertised. The
Staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. There’s a lot of local history here. It’s so neat!"
Margaret Anthony
"The village was exceptionally well done. It really took you back to a time when there was no TV and internet. To connect with any one you had to use the telegraph or the one phone in the general store. If you have a couple of hours to spare it is well worth the time."
