What Travellers Say

The staff is frequently commended for their helpfulness and dignity, especially during difficult times. While the cemetery is vast, its peaceful atmosphere and notable monuments make it a worthwhile destination for reflection and exploration.
"We recently the most amazing experience one could have during one of saddest times in our lives. Sam jumped through hoops to accommodate our family’s wishes for the funeral and burial of my dear mother-in-law. I would highly recommend Lakeview Cemetery. And Thanks again, Sam!"
Amy M. Koshy
"Visited the grave of a grandparent for the first time. Have never been to Sarnia before and that was the main reason we visited Sarnia. The staff in the office were extremely helpful. At the entrance were a map showing all the sections and a sign with all the cemetery rules. The storm three days before uprooted some trees and caused many broken branches around. This is a very large cemetery that has headstones for ppl buried in the 1800. What I found helpful are the clearly visible markers in the ground indicating the section one's in. At the front of the cemetery near the road is a section for veterans. This was nice to see with a special monument and the Canadian flag. I like this cemetery as it has character and is serene."

"The staff and grounds crew are outstanding at Lakeview. They offer affordable cremation which is nearly impossible in this current economy. From the beginning of my family's journey with Sam at Lakeview to the actual passing, I was so pleased to know my dearest relation was treated with the upmost of dignity even in death."
