"We visited this museum on a rainy day, not really knowing what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the experience was. The displays were beautifully done — my personal favorite was the section with geodes and insects, which was absolutely fascinating. My kids especially loved the bones and animal exhibits; they were so engaged the entire time. The scavenger hunt we were provided at the entrance helped a lot!
We were also lucky to meet one of the staff members who shared a lot of interesting information about butterflies and other displays. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was such a treat to listen to him talk so passionately about the exhibits. The two ladies working that day were also so kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable.
It’s a small museum with a big heart — perfect for families or anyone curious about nature, stones, and bones! Overall, 10/10 experience, and we highly recommend this place."

"I am very glad that I was able to visit this museum. The photos do not convey the quality of the exhibits, the quality is very high. The museum has two floors and many rooms. The staff was very friendly. A volunteer named Kevin told many fascinating stories for my children.
If you have the opportunity, visit this beautiful place before it closes."

"I have been going to this museum since I was in elementary school, and even now at 19 I love it just as much. I was devastated when it closed, but so thankful that they were able to reopen!
There are so many amazing pieces of taxidermy here and the exhibits are incredible, you can spend an hour in each room. The prices are incredible too. I couldn’t believe it was still only $7!
The gift shop is lovely too.
And most importantly, the two women who were working were amazing. They were so enthusiastic about answering questions and really made the experience beautiful.
I recommend coming here to literally anyone! It’s a great place for kids and adults!!"
