"Checked out this wildlife sanctuary in the middle of Red Deer today. There is an interpretive center and washrooms as well as meeting rooms etc. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
You can take the paved 1km path or the 4km trail. I chose the 4k going left as it was less climbing versus taking it to the right. It was not crowded and quite a pleasant first visit. If you are looking for a change in scenery go have a look."
