"Visiting from Edmonton, we stayed at Red Deer, and decided to check out Migratory Bird Sanctuary.
Make sure to have an appropriate footwear and water when you step out on this trail. It is 4km long and all throughout the woods. Lots of stairs to climb, especially if you’re interested to go to the lookout.
We didn’t see much of a wildlife except for some birds. I’ve heard woodpecker but he was not very close for pictures.
Gift shop was well equipped.
I will make a suggestion to the manager of the shop, to spend some time with the sales team, as they didn’t have much information and interest to find out about some merchandise that was in the shop.
I could have bought more items, if they were better trained."
