What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
New Glasgow Lobster Suppers offers a quintessential PEI experience with generous portions and friendly service, though some find the seafood quality can be inconsistent. The lively, communal atmosphere and the value of the multi-course meal are consistently praised, making it a beloved tradition for many visitors and locals alike.
"New Glasgow Lobster Suppers offers a classic PEI dining experience in a warm and well-run environment. The first thing I noticed was how organized everything was—the staff have a clear system in place that keeps the flow of guests smooth and efficient, even when it’s busy. The atmosphere feels lively but comfortable, making it a great place to bring family or friends. As for the food, the lobster was fine, though not the highlight of the evening. The mussels were a bit underwhelming in flavour, and the scallops were decent but not outstanding. That said, the service really stood out—attentive, friendly, and quick, which helped make the evening enjoyable overall. While the seafood itself was mixed in quality, the overall experience was positive because of the welcoming setting and excellent staff. It’s worth visiting for the tradition and service, even if the food doesn’t completely shine."

"My first time at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, we went as a group of 10, this place is AMAZING!
The meal starts off strong with your choice of seafood chowder (basically a clam chowder but with lobster and more seafood) or tomato basil soup and dinner rolls (served warm and delicious) I went for the clam chowder and wow… honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had, truly hearty and delicious.
After that comes the three-salad plate consisting of coleslaw, a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a potato salad. Everything was so good. Then the main course, our table went mostly for lobster, plus a couple of Surf and Turf plates with scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredibly fresh. Honestly, by the time you finish the third course you’re already stuffed, but when dessert rolls around, there’s no way you can say no!
Dessert and drinks are included too, which is awesome. They had a bunch of dessert options, and while I was sad there was no coconut cream pie that night, the warm blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream made up for it.
Our waitress Lindsay was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, she made the whole experience even better."

"It was our first time here, and wow the food is phenomenal. Our server Lisa was very attentive and informative about navigating the dinners. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the chowder is very flavourful. The coconut cream pie was delicious and creamy. I am definitely going to come back here on my next trip, I am already looking forward to it. It was an experience in its self."
