Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the incredible, peaceful views from Lion's Head Lookout, calling the hike absolutely worth it. The natural beauty and unique rock formations are major highlights. However, the limited and mandatory parking reservations are a significant point of frustration for many, and the rocky trail requires appropriate footwear.

"The visit to the Lion's Head Lookout was incredible. It took me little over an hour to reach the Lookout point. The view from the Lookout was beautiful and peaceful. The trail can be rough at times so it is important to wear comfortable shoes. I did not make reservation for the parking, so I end up parking in a different lot and the walking distance from there to the Trail parking lot was about 30 minutes. There is also shuttle available from this lot to the Trail parking lot. Overall, had an amazing experience and will definitely visit again."

Namarpreet Sandha

"Amazing view!! It was a 5km hike back and forth from parking to the lookout. Other than that, there’s an additional trail you could follow that go past the lookout leading to Lion’s head point. I enjoyed the terrain, it was pretty easy - if you like boulders lol. There were also different trail signs to follow which were straightforward. Parking should be booked in advance."

Alexis Lumapas

"Nice hike to some beautiful lookouts high above the coastline.
It was rainy the day we hiked it but it was still enjoyable. That's a popular hike so reverse your parking space in advance if you want to park near the beginning of the trail else there's plenty of space in the town further down the road. Parking fees apply everywhere during summer."
