What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hikers praise Green Point for its spectacular summit views and the rewarding challenge of the trek. However, many note the hike is strenuous, not for beginners, and requires careful preparation regarding footwear, water, and clothing due to the demanding terrain and windy conditions. Some also mention inconsistent trail signage.
"The hike is strenuous, and slightly deceiving from what you would expect. The initial climb is approximately 5 kms to the "mountain" base, and once you slog up the rock crawl it's fairly level along the top.
The deceiving part (for me at least) is that the decent back to the groomed section of the trail is more taxing than you would expect.
This is the second time I've hiked the mountain, and from start to finish it took 4 hours and 43 minutes. I met other groups that were traveling faster, and others that had completed the hike in 8 hours. It's achievable for nearly any skill level; however, it is physically taxing."

"Good trail to hike. Awesome views. Worth hike it. But definitely not for beginners. Be prepared. Dont forget to bring water and food for full day.
It can be maintained better. At some ways there are no signs for the path. and also some trails are not maintained in good condition. So be careful to choose the paths."
