"This museum needs six stars!
Mr Cook did an amazing job of telling us the story (and serendipitously we were able to assist getting an important item to a relatives friend!)
This is a must see museum if you are at all interested in the abolitionist movement, the end of plantation slavery in North America, and the beginning of the Underground Railroad.
Highly interesting museum and good selection of t-shirts, educational materials and souvenirs.
And our former Prime Minister says Canada has no culture of its own - untrue!
Mr Josiah Henson sounded like a God fearing and courageous man!"

"This is a great piece of Canadian and American history that is absolutely worth visiting! The artifacts, historical overview, the preserved homes, church, sawmill, and cemetery were all very moving. A small museum but it represents such an incredible man, community, and a component of the Underground Railroad that we must never forget. Staff and guide were all fantastic and they have a nice gift shop where we bought a few items."
