"After being away from Vancouver for 2 yrs. We almost forgot about this gem of a place nestled between North Burnaby and Coquitlam. Straight off Barnett highway and across the street from the Bike Park ( still under construction as of Summer of 2025 ) Nice calm waters for paddle boarding as well as a pretty big picnic and beach area. Wave to the train conductors as they pass by and they will give you “hoot!”Tons of parking and the park is well kept and clean. Dog friendly with great views of North Vancouver and Port Moody."

The picturesque view of a calm lake with clear reflections of the trees and the surrounding sky makes it an ideal destination for those seeking peace and tranquillity. The fallen logs on the shore suggest the presence of a nearby forest, adding a touch of natural and wild beauty to the environment.
