What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny for its impressive, recently renovated infrastructure and the electrifying atmosphere during events. The stadium's historical significance and its role in hosting major sporting and cultural occasions are highly valued. While access for tours outside of events can be hit-or-miss, those who manage it find it a worthwhile experience.
"Not sure if it was allowed but I asked the guard if I could go for a tour and he took me to the offices and I paid to go around the grounds and also into change rooms and media rooms. Was definitely worth it. I got lucky because the guard that I asked spoke very good English and came around with us to translate. I would recommend if it’s something you want, just to ask. The worst they can say is no."

"Stadium completely renovated. The infrastructure (the stadium, the stands, the boxes, the toilets, the catering area) keeps its promise. The atmosphere at the stadium is great, the order, the rigor and the volunteers put their heart into making this AFCON the best of all time. Kudos to them"
