What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Serasa Beach offers unique dual views of industrial landscapes and the Brunei Bay, making it a good spot for sunrise and family picnics. However, visitors should be aware that swimming is prohibited due to safety concerns and water quality, and some areas may have maintenance issues or odors.
"So sorry 😔 No maintenance on the beach. The sign about crocodiles is there for so long time that it all covered in corrosion. It looks like a pretext to not maintain the place. Otherwise the area is really beautiful. Beautiful garbage bin. 😢 April 2025."

"Serasa beach, the one n only beach in Brunei which has two breathtaking views: The seaside view of Industrial island and the majestic view of Brunei Bay. It also has two views showing two majestic view of Temburong bridge and PMB bridge. Lots of economic and recreational potentials can be constructed here."

"A good enough place for a QUICK sight seeing. No one is allowed to swim here. Water is not the cleanest and there's a warning for crocodiles. Aside from that, there's a stench of dead/rotting fish near the endmost part of this place. Stay away from that spot and just limit your wanderings near the main facility to avail of parking, stalls and toilet. One more thing, the effect of the global rising sea water level is really profound here as one can see the exposed roots of the pine trees lining the shoreline."

These impressive feats of engineering contribute to the overall landscape, making Serasa Beach a place of varied and interesting sights. The beach itself is situated on the Serasa Spit, a narrow strip of land that provides these panoramic views.
While the scenery is a draw, it's important to note that the beach's recreational potential is significant, yet some visitors have noted a lack of consistent maintenance. Despite this, the area remains a popular spot for picnics and sightseeing, particularly for its sunrise views.

This highlights a community commitment to maintaining the beach's cleanliness and ecological health, even with the existing environmental factors.
