What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Praia do Moçambique is lauded for its stunning, expansive white sand and powerful surf waves, offering a sense of isolation and natural beauty. Visitors appreciate the ample space and the adventurous drive to reach its remote sections. However, a significant drawback is the prevalent issue of car break-ins, urging caution and awareness.
"Great surf spot. Long straight beach . Waves can get big."

"Absolutely beautiful beach.
More than 40 kilometres in length, it is a miracle that this beach is still very isolated. There are no settlements, condos, or apartments along it. You have to take a dirt road, sometimes with soft sand, so if you want to go further than the regular tourist spots, be sure to have a good car (or SUV) and decent driving skills.
To reach the rocks at the north end, you'll drive about 15 minutes from the entrance, and will have to walk a bit. At that spot you'll find, weather permitting, the calmest part of the beach, that otherwise can be very rough and strong sea.
From there you can hike a trail to the Santinho beach, a walk that can be a little bit steep, and last about an hour.
This is a great beach to spend the day, with lots of shadowed spots along the road, great for a family picnic.
Highly recommended."

"Beautiful Long Beach that has more than enough space for thousand."
