"My expectations were high since the price was so stiff compared to international standards. They advertise that they speak 3 different languages in the ad. Something only a few do. It is also stated in the advertisement that they have children's passports. There we learned that there was a restriction that the children had to be over 2 years old to be able to participate. It also happened a couple of times that there was no table space during breakfast, even though we had of course paid for it. Because the employees at the hotel had an event where they had to use the one room that was normally also served in.
I took up my frustration with the department manager at the hotel. There I was met with the fact that the staff should do everything they can to ensure that my hotel stay was as good as possible. But he could not admit that they engage in misleading advertising. Other than what he said, they made reservations about writing mistakes in the ad. I have looked at the ad for a while and nothing has changed on it. So no form of compensation for my stay just arrogance that I'm complaining about them it seemed.
It says they still speak three different languages. When the truth is that they speak two Portuguese and Spanish. Not English.
So do you speak another language Latin? Or come from a country other than Brazil/Spain? Is this hotel not for you? Then you will have problems with and understanding explanations of where toilets are located? Or if you are a parent who thinks it would be good to have some child care in while you relax at the beach. Don't forget that your child must be 2 years or older to receive it. And do you think we can just get some family or friends to come into the hotel and babysit. So expect and get questions from the staff about extra payment for extra guests."

"Excellent resort. Bungalow was charming. Beautiful amenities. Incredible kids area. Food options were diverse and plentiful. Ordering is a bit DIY as waiters aren't overly attentive. However, that does not affect the overall quality and pleasure that this resort offers."

Exploring the Natural Pools
Be aware that there's a small environmental tax per person to access the natural pools, which contributes to their preservation. While the pools are generally safe, it's wise to wear water shoes to protect your feet from sharp coral or rocks. The experience is magical, offering a glimpse into a vibrant underwater world right off the shore.
All-Inclusive Resorts: Pros and Cons
However, some travelers note that while service is generally good, it can be a bit DIY, with waiters not always being overly attentive. Additionally, be mindful of advertised amenities; for instance, children's programs might have age restrictions (e.g., over 2 years old), and not all staff may speak English fluently, which can be a point of frustration for international visitors. Despite these minor drawbacks, the extensive amenities, beautiful beachfront locations, and diverse food options make all-inclusive resorts a popular choice for many visiting Porto de Galinhas.
Adventure and Exploration: Buggy Tours
When booking a buggy tour, it's advisable to negotiate the price and clarify exactly which beaches will be visited and for how long. Some tours might include stops for swimming, snorkeling, or even surfing lessons. The drivers are usually locals who know the area well and can offer insights into the local culture and sights. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for a bumpy but exhilarating ride as you explore the diverse landscapes of the Porto de Galinhas coastline.
