What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Correios Cultural Center for its free admission and the quality of its diverse art exhibitions. The historic building itself, including its charming vintage elevator, is a significant draw. While some find the focus primarily on modern art, most appreciate the accessible cultural experience it offers.
"There's a few items in the lobby about the postal service, and the elevator is a fine example of the period. Otherwise it's just a bunch of modern art galleries."
Josiah Wadsack
"I enjoyed this place. It’s a great space for exhibitions: the rooms have a good size and they are well illuminated. The first floor (piso térreo) has some historical pieces.
Also, if you are visiting until March 2023, there is a nice exhibition called “Ser Humano” by Cesar Coelho."
Bianca C. R. C. Rocha
"Free entry to this very lovely old post building. There are many different showing in the building so there should be something for everyone, and if non of the showing are interesting the building it self is also interesting."
