"This was a very impressive museum covering the land, people and culture going back to prehistory. The museum features several artifacts, historical commentary and life sized depictions of different eras of history. The young lady who guided us was very nice. She advised us on additional sites to visit and even certain freshwater fish to try during our visit to Trebinje to make our visit much more meaningful. We definitely enjoyed this museum as one of the many places we visited in Trebinje."

"Certainly one of the most active and productive local culture- and art-oriented institutions. Almost every weekend new exhibition or other event. Really lovely permanent exhibition which is a must if you want to know more about how people used to live in and around Trebinje and who are some of the famous personalities from here. This place is surely a great contribution for both local inhabitants of all ages and backgrounds and tourists who want to dig deeper into the tradition, history, and culture of Herzegovina. I visited permanent exhibition and quite a few short-term ones, a few breathtaking music performances, poetry evenings, as well as summer film festival which among other venues takes place at this lovely yard just in front of the museum. Last but not least, this is a very professionally and fruitfully run institution. To sum up, this is a must see of Trebinje!"

"The Museum has interesting exhibitions across three floors, I recommend visiting and learning more about this part of the country. I needed around an hour for visiting, but that depends on how detailed you are."
