What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the stunning natural scenery and the overall well-organized experience, from booking to the shuttle service. Many highlight the fun of navigating the dams and passing Walzin Castle. However, some find it can be overcrowded during peak times, leading to 'traffic jams' on the river, and a few mention feeling it was overpriced for the amenities and staff engagement.
"Amazing experience! Best kayaking spot for beginners and first timers. The depth of the Lesse river is average 1m. It was our first time and we had a blast. Everything was well structured from making a booking online to issuance of tickets at the reception, train ride to the start, getting oars, life vests, instructions to then launching on the kayak. Highly recommended 👌"

"Beautiful nature, and we chose a 12 km route. HOWEVER, there were way too many people on the trail, which often caused “traffic jams.” Honestly, it felt overpriced for what we got. There were no instructions for beginners and no signs showing how much of the route had already been completed.
The shuttle bus we paid extra and was extremely overcrowded, had no air conditioning, and felt like we were packed in like sardines. The student staff seemed completely uninterested in their job. And the toilets… just terrible."

"This is one of the better kajak experiences.
They have multiple kinds of kajaks.
single seater
Duo seater
Low seats to extra comfortable seats.
They have shuttle services that bring you to the starting point. In our case it was a touring car from Flix bus.
They have a 9km, 12km and a 21km trip that takes you +/- 5 hours
We took the 12km trip but we wished we took the 21km trip. So for sure we will be coming back.
The river is a mixture of slow and fast section and you even pass 2 dams (you will get wet)
You pass forest, rock cliffs and a castle
The staff speaks french, dutch and english. And they give you a water tight bucket for your belongings.
Overal a very nice experience and service.
Like said before, will visit again!"
