I was unfortunately quite disappointed with this shopping village. There was quite a few vacant shops which was off putting. There was 2-3 gift/souvenir shops but the one my group was really wanting to visit (Byvonne) had a sign on their door that they had closed early for the day. No explanation given. This was during the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights Spectacular so there was quite a few tourists around, my group included, so you would think they would stay open all day to get the revenue. The village itself is by no means accessible for people with disabilities and mobility issues. There was quite a few stairs to get to the different levels and no lifts 🛗 that I saw and I also didn’t see any toilets, but that’s not to say there weren’t any. There was a lovely little Christmas Shop that had a great range of Christmas 🎅 decorations. There was also a little British Lolly Shop but other than that, there really wasn’t a good variation of stores to look through. There are about 3 or so cafes/ restaurants to enjoy a meal and/or drink. There’s also good parking 🅿️ available. The name vacant shops was extremely off putting. A big disappointment. I don’t think I would recommend anyone visiting here. Such a wasted opportunity. This could be so much better. Thumbs down!! 👎👎"

"I remember this village to be vibrant, buzzing and full of people and energy, it was the must place to visit. The shops use to be full of beautiful, hand crafted, unique items and I always looked forward to coming and finding something different for gifts. It’s now so disappointing. Shops are empty, and the ones that are open are over priced and full of cheap temu junk, the facilities are old and dirty. Cant even express how disappointing and sad it is so see an iconic location like this, in this state. I hope someone is able to restore it back to its glory days. Did however have great coffee at Ronnie’s."
