What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gordon Falls Reserve is lauded for its stunning lookout views and family-friendly picnic area with a playground. However, visitors should be aware of the steep terrain and numerous steps to access certain features like the Pool of Siloam, making it less suitable for those with mobility issues. Parking can also be a challenge on busy days.
"Located at 16-26 Lone Pine Avenue, Leura, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺
This beautiful place features the Gordon Falls picnic area which has a great children’s playground, plenty of seating and has recently renovated and the Pool of Siloam which is absolutely gorgeous but there’s a lot of steps and can be quite steep. This also includes the Gordon Falls Lookout which offers absolutely stunning views but it’s also steep in some areas and the steps can be quite difficult. Definitely not recommended for people with mobility issues. But if you can do it, highly recommend. Well worth it. There are no dogs 🐕 allowed and bins 🚮 are not found on walking trails so all rubbish to be taken with you and disposed of later. There’s good parking 🅿️ facilities but can fill up fast. Particularly on a busy day. There’s also good toilet 🚻 facilities and BBQ facilities. Very family friendly. Highly recommend!! Thumbs up!! 👍👍"

"Took my granddaughter to visit this place. Easy to find at the end of the leura mall road.
Some stairs down to the lookout but not hard. And well worth the few stairs. What a view.
Theres parking and a van selling coffees and snacks.
The track is part of the cliff walk."

"A nice park with 4 portable toilet cubicles that were very clean. There were a good amount of benches and 2 little stone huts. Main disappointment is that even a reserve like this apparently needs a parking meter that costs $3/15minutes. Would only come if I can find free parking 😤"

While the picnic area is easily accessible, it's important to note that the more scenic spots, like the lookout and the Pool of Siloam, involve steep paths and numerous steps.
