"Fantastic spot for tourists and locals alike! Lots of things to do (as long as you like nature), and they each have their own interests.
The steep train is fantastic, and you can adjust the angle of the seat to change your experience on the train.
The workers are super friendly and helpful.
There's a cafe above the gift shop, fairly good size and looks to have good food (didn't try myself)."

"We had left Central Station on the 8:25 am train to Katoomba, arrived at the station and decided to walk to Scenic World. Our reservation was for 11:00.
Surprisingly it was a very busy day there! Glad we pre-purchased tickets with 2 adult meals (need to show up within 30 min. of reserved time, about 17 min wait in line to check in). We saved a lot for our meals with the bundle offered through their website. We’re also glad we ate first as the restaurant got really busy later! The lines were kinda long (~20-30 min wait) for each of the 3 rides. Definitely got the amusement park vibe from Scenic World. The employees were all very friendly and pleasant. We had a great time overall! We could’ve spent more time there but we wanted to get back to Sydney by 6 pm. So we took the 686 bus and looped by Echo Point.
I have a fear of heights but it wasn’t too bad especially when I’m using my phone to capture the views as I’m on the rides.
If you’re going to the Blue Mountains purely to see the splendor, you don’t need to go to Scenic World, but it does bring a different thrill factor and allows you to see highlights in a compressed time frame. If I had a day more, I’d check out the bottom of Katoomba Falls by foot, and visit other nearby falls and Echo Point. Beautiful area."
