"What a great museum to visit in Kalgoorlie, and it was free, a donation is appreciated though.
I think most people head straight to the lift to get a great view of the town from the head frame. Bit cold and windy though, May.
Then the Gold Room was my next spot and that was so interesting with a good exhibition of gold (of course) both coins, nuggets and daily use items.
Then outside there are exhibits to enjoy including a very narrow pub
Lovely visit"

Paul Tooze (No Journey Too Small)

"Great display around the first nations people. I was moved by the Edie Ulrich story, what an amazing artist and story teller.

So many aspects on display in this well curated museum.

The team managing the display were wonderful to talk and a wealth of knowledge.

A must see when going to Kalgoorlie."
