Founded in 1985 by the legendary Australian wine critic James Halliday, Coldstream Hills is a place of passion, precision, and storytelling through wine. Halliday, a former barrister turned winemaker, is one of the most respected voices in the wine world. His books and annual Halliday Wine Companion have helped Australians (and wine lovers around the world) discover outstanding local producers for decades.
James started this vineyard with the goal of crafting exceptional cool-climate wines, especially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay – and the legacy lives on today in every bottle.This Chardonnay moved me & blew my mind something so deeply special followed by the Pinot Noir 🙏
