I especially loved the creative touch of their DIY picnic baskets, which you can fill with local gourmet goodies and enjoy on the stunning winery grounds. It’s the perfect way to slow down and savour the flavours of this iconic region.
Our tour was a thrill—walking up the stairs and looking out over the vast vineyard, framed by rows of apple and pear orchards, was a breathtaking moment. What a magical surprise this beautiful place was!! We felt instantly welcomed as soon as we opened the door and walked into what would now be one of the best tasting experiences we have ever had in our long tenure of being avid wine drinkers..
Our lovely host was not only friendly and patient with us, she was also hilarious as well as knowledgeable and knew exactly what wine to put in front of us whilst having a chat and seeing what our characters were like that would pair with characters of the drops she poured into the glasses!
Oh and can I just say, the COSMIC CRISP apples are to die for!!!! Yuuummmm 🍎
