Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise Royal Terrace Nicholson Street for its unbeatable location, rich historical character, and stunning architecture, particularly its views of the Royal Exhibition Building. It's highly recommended for its walkability to major attractions and event venues, offering an authentic Melbourne experience.
"We had such a great stay at character filled Royal Terrace and will absolutely be back!
Friends recommended this place to us after they stayed here to be close to the Rod Laver Arena for the the Australian Open. We came here for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and we found it extremely well placed. It looks directly onto the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building and park. It is also a few mins walk away from the Melbourne Museum and the IMAX cinema which was handy when friends with kids came to visit. We like our morning walks and were able to explore Carlton, Fitzroy and the CBD all by foot as it was smack bang in the middle of them all.
We have friends who come to Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final, the cricket at the MCG, and the Formula One and we will be recommending it to them for sure.
If you are looking for short stay with history and character, with excellent access to Melbourne CBD and suburbs, this place is perfect.
Finally thank you to our lovely hosts for looking after us during our stay!"
