"BATS!!! We had a wonderful little family hike here to see the famous flying foxes, otherwise known as fruit bats.

Being from Hawaii, this was a totally unique and cool experience as don't really have a lot of bats in hawaii! We walked maybe a half mile from the parking lot and BAM, BATS GALORE!

This place is totally worth visiting! and remember, BATS AREN'T BUGS!"

"We generally park as close as we can to Deep Rock swimming hole as it' a beautiful walk along the river there and then head towards Dights Falls & back. Great dog friendly walk with a mix of offlead & leashed zones throughout.

I personally have gone swimming there, and wouldn't after heavy rains but plenty other dogs seem to love jumping in at different sections where allowed"

Ames Corcoran

"I love to walk beside the river, the place is very clean and maintaned"
