"Great walk from Oxley lookout, it has good signage which will guide you all the way there. Some parts are steep and rocky so bring good shoes. The walk took us about 1 hour each way, about 5km return, so give yourself enough time, there is a great view from the top and it's about 800 metres above sea level."

"Steep, rough, narrow, rocky goat track. I tried from both Oxley Lookout and Endevour drive. Starts off ok, but then you're walking a goat track, stepping on lose rocks on a steep climb amongst pine forest. Once it got to narrow, steep, rocky goat track amongst pines I stopped, and went back. You could easily get lost. It is confusing in places with multiple goat tracks branching off. You dont know which is the main path if you can call it that. Take a charged phone. Unless you're light and fit, forget it. I dont mind a 2.5km walk, but this is rocky narrow goat track on lose rocks, almost verticle in places without any proper steps. I doubt the lookout is worth destroying your knees and nearly killing yourself getting up there assuming you don't get lost. Wouldn't do it in the summer. If you get bitten by a snake, youll die there. They'll need a helicopter and winch to rescue you. Madness."
