📍Tamworth, NSW Tamworth Day 2. Let's go what a fun ride started at the Botanical Gardens and ended at Oxley scenic lookout. For obvious reasons Nadia's favourite part of the day was the duck snuggling up to her foot. #youngnomads #notsolocallocals #biglap #outbacknewsouthwales #visitnewsouthwales #thisisqueensland #newsouthwales #nsw #seekingtheoutdoors #seekinghideaways #travelaustralia #travel...

Reviews Summary

Visitors find Tamworth Botanical Gardens to be a peaceful and well-kept spot, particularly enjoyable for families thanks to its miniature train ride and picnic-friendly atmosphere. While some note it's a 'work in progress' with varying floral displays and dry water features, its tranquility and charm make it a worthwhile visit for a relaxing outing.

"Very disappointed. All ponds and streams were dry. Parts of the park were unkept with dead bushes and plants. Plant markers missing and falling over. I saw one magpie and one bee. It seems even the wildlife was disappointed. There were some recently planted flowers at the entry. I remember the days when the gardens were thriving and volunteers were enjoying the opportunity to give back to the community. It doesn't seem like this program is still running."
