There are great opportunities for 4 wheel driving along the entire 40km coastline (keep to the tracks with red markers), hiking along well indicated tracks, bird watching, fishing and swimming.

Please keep the park clean by taking your rubbish home and, being a national park, no dogs are permitted."

"An exceptionally beautiful section of coast, long beaches with powerful surf and currents, massive sand dunes, abundant wildlife, and great 4x4 access tracks. Good knowledge and skills are required to travel some beaches, and 4x4 recovery gear is a must! A back track runs along the coastline, providing access to scenic locations that are clearly sign posted and to the coast without having to travel on the riskier beaches. From Canunda to Carpenter Rocks is about 36km, and to Southend via Geltwood Beach is about 18km. Deflate your tyres to 14 psi for the back track (and safe dune travel) and 8-10 for the beaches. Note* Pressures are my recommendations only, as a moderately experienced person in this area, and I personally feel confident running in my own vehicle.
