What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

While the Tren de la Costa offers scenic views and access to charming towns, some travelers have reported issues with accessibility and inconsistent service at certain points. The affordability and the pleasant journey along the river are frequently praised, but navigating the system and ensuring smooth operations remain areas for improvement.

"We completed three procedures on the same day: two adult passports and one minor's ID card. Two days later, they called to say the photo for one of the passports was incorrect (they took it) and that we had to redo the process. We did so. The first passport arrived 30 days later, the second 45 days later, but the ID card never arrived. After 60 days, I went to RENAPER (National Registry of Persons), and they told me it had been left at the San Fernando Civil Registry. They called and the registry confirmed this. We went to the Civil Registry to pick it up, but it's not there. So, where do I look for it? We have no idea where it is!"

Federico Esteban Peña

"Awful. You get an important appointment, where two people are supposed to sign something, but those two people WEREN'T THERE, period. They tell you they'll call you back, which never happened. We had to go a total of four times with the baby to finish the process! That's the state of the country; that's the kind of people who work there."

Erick Lavie

"The girl who helps you with glasses should work in a warehouse instead of serving the public. She's incredibly rude and doesn't offer any helpful solutions to your questions or problems. If she had a human face on Monday mornings, it would be hers."
