Reviews Summary
Pejerrey Club de Quilmes offers a historic pier and a large swimming pool, making it a popular summer destination. While the pier provides fishing opportunities and scenic views, the river itself is not recommended for swimming due to pollution. Some visitors find the club past its prime, but it remains a viable option for escaping the heat and enjoying a day out.
"A run down pier well past it's glory days. Still worth a look around."

"Another good alternative to escape the heat of summer. Located directly on the riverbank in the southern suburb of Quilmes (where the beer of the same name is also brewed) this beautiful historic club was founded in 1938 and apart from a 700 meter long pier for fishing or enjoying the views, it also has a big swimming pool that opens from the beginning of December till the end of February. Non-members can use the facilities as well for a small entry fee. Remember that though there are steps towards the river, swimming in the river itself is still not really recommended due to pollution levels from factories along the nearby Riachuelo river."
