What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
La Ribera Quilmes is widely praised as a beautiful, well-maintained, and safe park, especially for families. Visitors appreciate the extensive playgrounds, riverside promenade, and sports facilities. However, some note the limited shade and lack of traditional restrooms and drinking fountains as areas for improvement.
"I truly congratulate the municipality of Quilmes for taking advantage of the beauty of the river and its shoreline, creating this fantastic park for families. It's very beautiful and quiet, ideal for physical activities and cycling. Everything is in good condition, and the place is very clean. It's one block from the 85 bus terminal. It has many benches and tables, lots of plants, and a police booth in the center. Things to keep in mind: there are only chemical toilets (which, in my opinion, should be facilities with staff paid by the municipality, which would be great). I also didn't see any drinking fountains or sinks for washing hands. And there's little shade. Washing water and an umbrella are provided. For fishermen, the downstream area is a rustic place with lots of rocks and snags, be careful."

"A beautiful park full of games for children of all ages, comfortable spaces to drink some mate and spend a moment enjoying the river view! Well-maintained green spaces, comfortable seating for families and groups of friends or couples... there's also a huge area for skateboarding! There's a walking and biking circuit. It also has bathrooms and a parking area. I highly recommend visiting it! These public places are worth spreading the word! ❤️"

"Beautiful place, it exceeded all my expectations. Very spacious, well-maintained, and very safe. I don't recommend going on hot days because there's no shade. Especially for winter vacation with the kids. Especially in the morning. There's a place to skate, and it's great for biking."
