Wallings Nature Reserve is praised for its beautiful, shaded trails and rewarding hikes, especially to Signal Hill for its breathtaking views. Visitors appreciate the well-marked paths and the knowledgeable rangers. However, some find the reserve difficult to locate due to missing signage, and recommend bringing cash for entry fees.
"This is a nice shady trail to take, there are multiple trail heads and the signs are well marked, better than any trail I've taken on the island. There is an option to have a membership so you can come as many times as you'd like in a month, if you are on vacation, this is a great place to check off your list. The one time fee is 40EC a person, they do have a card reader as well. I'd recommend you bring water and good hiking shoes. The highest elevation reached was 1108 feet. It took 1 hour and 35 minutes to complete Spring Hill trail, that is about 1.40 miles. It is definitely steep in some points but has a lot of rocks and roots that make natural steps. Overall, when you reach the top, the view of is enchanting and peaceful."
